Aimpoint® 1000Red dot reflex sight

The red dot sight model Aimpoint® 1000, launched by Aimpoint in 1987, was based on the same principles as the sight model Mark III but featured a revised design that made the sight slimmer and lighter. The automatic dot intensity adjustment feature was replaced by a 9-level rotary switch. The reworked design included a few additional minor changes to achieve a more competitive price level for the AIMPOINT 1000 model.

At that time, in the late 1980s, competitors, especially from Asia, were introducing imitations of our products to the market.
