Aimpoint Opened New Opportunities for Jules

Over 600 people applied, 20 were selected, and among them, 18-year-old Jules Breant emerged as one of the final winners of the Aimpoint Shooting Academy. When he returned home from Sweden, he brought with him not only the training and the unique experience but also a rifle from Sako and an Acro C-2 sight from Aimpoint.
– It was a crazy experience. Aimpoint was something new to me, but it has changed how I view shooting, says Jules.

Despite his young age, Jules is an experienced hunter. Growing up in Normandy, France, he has spent much of his free time on gamekeeping and hunting. He discovered Aimpoint at a French hunting expo, where he came across the opportunity to apply for the Shooting Academy.
– I saw a poster with a QR code for registration. I scanned the code, submitted my application, and after a while, I received the news that I had been accepted.

For Jules, the trip to Sweden and participating in the training was already a major win. He had not expected to also win the internal competition among the participants.
– I wasn’t there to win. It came as a surprise, he says.

The victory has transformed Jules’ approach to shooting. He now uses the techniques from the training and his Acro C-2 sight during hunts in France.
– The red dot sight is very useful for our hunts here. I’ve shot red deer, roe deer, and wild boar with it. I’ve also trained extensively and noticed that I’ve become a better shooter.

Jules has also received many questions about Aimpoint after sharing videos on his social media, showcasing how he now also uses the red dot sight Arco S-2 on his shotgun.
– Aimpoint is well-known in France for its driven hunt sights, but red dot sights for shotguns are less common. I get many questions and try to share what I’ve learned.

As the hunting season is winding down, Jules is focusing on gamekeeping and training while dreaming of future hunting adventures.
– One dream is to go stalking in Africa. I think an Acro sight would work perfectly there. I’d also love to hunt wild boar in Romania or Hungary. And of course, I want to return to Sweden – the driven hunt there was absolutely fantastic.
